241 Ministries
241 Ministries, is about 'Jesus on the street', and more specifically, the streets of Ipswich.
Formally known as Ipswich Baptist Community Care Services, it is the official side of our ministry on the streets of our community.
All who love Jesus and have been called to follow Him, are compelled to reach out to those in need on a practical level as-well-as on a spiritual level (Matt 25:31-46). And, as with all ministries within the church, we believe this should happen as individuals reach out in their daily lives, and as we come together with one purpose and mind, as a group of people reaching out to others in the form of a Ministry group.
Currently, 241 Ministries primary form of connection is through the Chat Room, where people can drop in and have a 'cuppa n a chat' on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 10am - 2pm [visit Chat Room for more info].
241 Ministries is also holding 'street church' on some Sunday afternoons, to try and help people connect with Jesus in a way that is relevant to them [for more info contact Gary Truloff].
241 Ministry is coordinated by Gary, who is employed by the church for 3 days/week, and can be contacted via the Contact page - select '241 Ministry'
