G'day Guys

We had another great night last month with 'D' Morcom, inviting us to consider "What's Our Approval Rating?"Made me think if God is for us, who can be against us? If anyone wants notes from D's presentation, Jim Heriot has copies.

This month it's on again. On Saturday 25 September we have a couple of fella's from Everymans Christian Welfare Service, John and Mark. Anyway, the fella's will be sharing with us about how they share the gospel with the guys in our armed forces. The night will be held at Ipswich Baptist Church, 32a Workshops St Brassall on Saturday evening commencing at 7.00pm.  There will be a cost of $9.00 for the night to cover a two course meal.  Just let Darren Van Twest, Jack Blain, John Swanwick, or Jim Heriot know by Sunday 19 September if you're coming, or e-mail Jim @ jlheriot@optusnet.com.au. We look forward to seeing you there!!! 

But wait there's more!!! The Men's Bible Study is still happening up stairs at the church on alternative Thursday nights. At the moment we're looking at a book by Kel Willis called "Living with you - Living with me, plenty of challenges in this one that's for sure!!! The same 4 fella's can give you the drum on that one too!!!

Hey, I'm not done yet, and on Friday 29 October we'll be welcoming Alan Grieve from Stafford Baptist, and Alan will be sharing his journey "From Motor Mechanic To Minister". The RSVP for that one will be Sunday 24 October.
